Framed Polar Bears

Photo-etching allows for tiny, dense lines that mimic the heavy coats these Arctic bears need to survive in sub-zero winds. Framed in a simple gold-tone border, the parent and cub display the low-slung heads and massive shoulders typical of *Ursus maritimus*. It is an uncommon piece in the line, and I especially like how the warm metal finish contrasts with the freezing northern habitat it depicts.
