Wild Bryde Africa Collection Guide

An unofficial, collector-built catalog of the vintage Wild Bryde Africa jewelry line — safari and African wildlife designs in etched recycled-brass, made in the USA, organized by artwork, species, and tags.

About This Guide

Wild Bryde produced intricate etched recycled-brass jewelry featuring wildlife. Their Africa line celebrated the wildlife of the savanna and beyond — elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, and more — as single-species portraits and multi-species safari pieces.

This census documents each known artwork — the underlying etched design — rather than every listing. When one etching appears in several forms (necklace, earrings, pin) or finishes (gold plated, rhodium plated or sterling silver), it is recorded once with its variants noted.

The Wild Bryde line was discontinued, so most pieces now turn up on the resale market. I maintain an aggregated eBay listing page to help collectors see what is currently available — I don’t sell anything there, just gather listings from various sellers in one place. I may earn a small commission on some purchases, which goes back into running the site. Happily, it stays an affordable brand to collect: brooches and earrings tend to run about $10 to $40, necklaces and bracelets around $30 to $80, with complete matching sets typically higher.

This is an independent, fan-made reference with no official association with Wild Bryde. All images are drawn from public e-commerce listings on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Etsy, WorthPoint and other resale sites, and are used here purely to document and identify the line. Design names were assigned by the page creator and do not necessarily reflect Wild Bryde’s internal naming.

Current Listings

Pieces from this collection currently listed on eBay — I don't sell any of them myself. A small commission from a purchase helps keep the census going.
