Spiral Seashell

To my eye, the knobby ridges and tight geometric coil of these earrings point strongly to an *Angaria* sea snail. Translating a thick, thorn-spined marine mollusk into photo-etched brass requires careful texturing, and here the etched lines follow the whorls all the way to the center. This gives the flat, gold-tone metal a clear sense of dimension while keeping the design completely weightless.
